About 1920s photos
The Roaring Twenties were photographed in black and white, often warm-toned, with soft edges from the lenses of the time. Studios and fairs had a crescent moon prop to sit on, the paper moon portrait, and parties were all tuxedos, beaded fringe dresses, long pearls and bobbed hair.
This 1920s photoshoot puts you in a Gatsby-style mansion for the night: the paper moon corner, the ballroom with a jazz band stand, a hidden speakeasy, the grand staircase, a touring car at the front door, the parlor and the dressing room.
The rooms were redrawn from 1928 film stills and the 1928 Sears catalog, which are in the public domain: the Art Deco wall panels, the phonograph-radio cabinet and the fringed floor lamps come from them.

What do I get?+–
7 photos in landscape 3:2, one in each set of our 1920s studio. Everyone you add is in all 7, in the same outfits. The first one is your free preview. Add seven 5-second videos for $1 at 480p or $2 at 720p; videos are cropped to 16:9.
Will my photos have a watermark or logo?+–
No. Your photos come clean, with no watermark, logo or studio stamp. The small stamp is only on our example photos, and the PREVIEW label is only on the free preview.
How many people can be in the photos?+–
From one to 20, a big extended family included. Send one selfie per person or pet, and everyone appears in all 7 photos. The price goes by group size: 1 to 4 $5.90, 5 to 8 $7.90, 9 to 14 $10.90, 15 to 20 $12.90.
Can everyone send a selfie from a different place?+–
Yes. Everyone sends their own selfie, so family in different cities can join. We put everyone together in all 7 photos; you do not need a group photo.
Can I print them?+–
Yes. The photos are 2K in landscape 3:2, about 2,000 pixels wide, enough for 4×6 or 5×7 prints and holiday cards. Download them and use any print shop.
Can I use the photos?+–
Yes, they are yours for personal use: holiday cards, prints, profile pictures and posts.
What happens to our photos?+–
Your uploads are deleted after 7 days and the finished photos and videos after 30 days, so download the ones you want to keep. We do not use your photos to train models. Evolink receives your photos and the studio set to make your photos; if you add videos, KeelRouter passes the finished photos to fal to animate them.

What is a paper moon photo?+–
In the 1910s and 1920s, photo studios had a big crescent moon prop that people sat on in front of a starry backdrop. Your first photo is taken on ours.
Is it good for an anniversary or a Gatsby party?+–
Yes. Couples use it for anniversaries and save-the-dates, and groups for Gatsby and roaring 20s party invitations. Up to 20 people or pets can be in each photo.
